1. Definitions

2. Eligibility & Registration

A Rider must be at least 18 years of age, and must register with a valid, active mobile number and/or email ID, keeping their profile accurate and up to date.

3. Rider Responsibilities

4. Booking & Ride Process

A Rider places a booking request specifying pickup/drop location; the Platform matches it with an available Host, who may accept or decline. Once accepted, the Rider can view the Host's name, vehicle number, contact number, and live location for coordination. The Company is only a technology intermediary connecting Riders and Hosts, and is not itself a transport operator.

5. Fare & Payment Modes

The Fare is calculated by the Platform based on distance, time, and the applicable rate card, payable immediately on completion of the Ride. Exactly three payment modes are supported: Wallet, Coin, and Cash.

6. Wallet Policy

7. Wallet-to-Wallet Transfer (Rider-to-Rider Only)

In short — Wallet transfer = Rider to Rider, within OkayCab only. Not Rider to Host, and not to anything outside the App.

14. Account Suspension & Termination

The Company may suspend, restrict, or terminate a Rider account for breach of these Terms, safety complaints, or suspected fraud. See the separate Rider Account Deletion Policy for the closure process.

15. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

The Company's total liability shall not exceed the Commission earned on the specific Ride giving rise to a claim. The Rider indemnifies the Company against any claim arising from the Rider's use of the Platform, breach of these Terms, or any dispute with a Host, including Cash disputes.
